At the DSM Nutritional Products booth, we will be showcasing a number of innovative health and nutrition ingredients at this year’s Vitafoods Europe, with an exclusive preview of essential solutions for kids & teens and for men.
Our two new Health Benefit Solutions comprise a range of vitamins, minerals and functional ingredients formulated to meet the specific nutritional requirements of children and men. These new platforms complement our existing portfolio of 12 Health Benefit Solutions, which includes: Guard your Heart, Upgrade your Vision and Empower your Mind (to name a few).
Ingredients are available on their own or as a customised, pre-prepared Quali-Blends premix. Visitors will be able to sample the new and existing Health Benefit Solutions through a range of healthy ‘shot’ drinks.
From micronutrient deficiency to obesity, health issues affecting kids and teens are high on governmental and consumer agendas worldwide. We responded to the gap in the market by launching ‘Essentials for Kids and Teens’ – a targeted platform to support healthy development throughout childhood and beyond.
It’s categorised according to the needs of three distinct age ranges: early childhood, school-aged children and teenagers. The platform includes a wide variety of key nutrients, including B vitamins, vital for the development of a healthy immune system in early childhood and to help combat stress associated with the teenage years.
Functional ingredients such as long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids contribute to improved mental performance and concentration levels in school-aged children. Each ingredient comes with a recommended intake for the relevant age group, ensuring ease of formulation and peace of mind. Ingredients can be purchased individually or used as the starting point for a pre-prepared, customised Quali-Blends premix, tailor-made for each customer’s specific needs.
Our new Essentials for Men platform offers nutrients to address key male health concerns including cardiovascular health, physical and mental performance, appearance and reproductive health.
