Marvel for a moment at US-based White Coffee’s latest Keurig-compatible single-serve coffee and hot chocolate capsules, themed around some of the most recognisable characters from the world’s most famous comic book publisher.
New Marvel Comics coffee is available in four single-serve variants, each represented by a different iconic superhero – Iron Man’s stark French roast, Spiderman’s Daily Bugle breakfast blend, Captain America’s shield hazelnut coffee and, for the Incredible Hulk, a gamma espresso roast – referring to the type of radiation that first caused character Bruce Banner to transform into the sizeable superhero. Each ten-count box is available with a recommend retail price of $6.99.
The range of coffees will be accompanied by the launch of White Coffee’s Marvel’s Avengers hot chocolate, which contains 12 single-serve coffee cups for a recommended retail price of $7.99. The drinks are fat-free and contain just 20 calories per serving.
The collaboration will seek to appeal to Marvel fans among White Coffee’s consumer base, and commemorates the fact that the two New York-based companies share the same founding year. Both of the new ranges are compatible with Keurig’s 2.0 model coffee maker.
White Coffee Corporation executive vice president Jonathan White said: “We are so excited to feature Marvel’s characters on our coffee and hot chocolate collections. Our consumers are huge Marvel fans. These iconic figures – Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow and the rest of the Avengers – plus Spider-Man, have legacies that span multiple generations.”
The products will be launched in retail outlets across the US later this year.
