Many food and beverage companies will be running special World Cup promotions, running competitions with football-related prizes, introducing limited edition World Cup branded products. Some may be linked to the event, either through sponsorship or support for the event itself, or through sponsorship and support for national teams or individual star players.
Traditionally, it’s beer and lager brewers, confectionery manufacturers and snack makers that are at the forefront of this activity. Not necessarily ideal products for an activity where fitness is key. So will dairy be getting in on the act?
