WKND anti-hangover alcoholic drink

Denmark-based Cactus Group has developed ‘the world’s first scientifically proven, anti-hangover, alcoholic beverage.

WKND is a fresh cider drink, which features a crispy cactus lime flavour. The new creation is made using cactus extract, which, according to the company’s website, ‘is one of the only scientifically proven products against hangovers in the world’. Cactus extract is believed to break down the toxins the body accumulates when consuming alcohol.

Packaged in a long-neck 275ml glass bottle, WKND contains an ABV rating of 4.5% and features a slightly carbonated texture. Adorned with the motto ‘A Star Tonight, A Star Tomorrow’, the new drink is designed to be served with a lime slice.
