Dr Barnes is a technical expert and strategic partner to dairy processors, manufacturers and packaging suppliers, providing insights on sustainability, product innovation, consumer insights, food safety and regulatory processes and procedures.
She has previously served as vice president of technology and packaging for the Innovation Center for US Dairy and Dairy Management Inc. In this position, she helped the dairy industry realise its sustainability goals by working as an expert resource internally and directly with processors, manufacturers and transporters.
Dr Barnes is a multilingual business development and strategic marketing professional with 18 years of international dairy industry experience. Her competencies include global knowledge of the liquid dairy product and packaging industries across the value chain, from packed product innovation through processing and packaging technologies to brand development consumer marketing and consumer and retail trends.
