Fudge Kitchen has launched a series of innovations for Valentine’s Day, as it looks to capitalise on the anticipated surge in confectionery sales.
The company will launch 12 individually hand-tied Fudge Treats, consisting of smooth fudge parcels in sea salted caramel, and white chocolate and raspberry flavours. Each 240g box will retail with a price of £10.
It has also released a Valentine’s Slim Slider, with six miniature chunks of creamy gourmet fudge in sea salted caramel, white chocolate and raspberry, and chocolate rose flavours. Presented in a bronze sliding tray and weighing 125g each, the Slim Sliders have a recommended retail price of £6.
Fudge Kitchen has also unveiled two new gift hampers. The first is a Valentine’s hamper in a ribboned box, which claims to provider everything needed “for a cosy night on the settee”. It includes a ceramic Fudge Kitchen-branded mug with ceramic spoon, two sachets of rich chocolate drinking fudge, one packet of mini marshmallows and one of Fudge Kitchen’s Valentine’s Slim Slider. It weighs 560g and has a recommended retail price of £18.
The other, called the Fudge in my Kitchen Love kit, is a four-strong range of kits that includes a thermometer, apron, spatulas and all-natural, gluten-free ingredients and decorations to make three flavours of fresh fudge. The fudge can be made simply by adding whipping cream or soya milk.
Complete with full instructions, the make-your-own kit includes freeze-dried strawberries, crushed meringue, mint crunch and dark chocolate to create three adventurous flavours of fudge: strawberries and cream, chocolate brownie and sea salted caramel. Each kit delivers 1kg of fudge goodness and will retail with a recommended price of £25.
The company is also offering fudge making experiences.
All of the confectioner’s Valentine’s offerings “involve handmade, hand-decorated, premium fudge, using only the finest ingredients… [and] beautifully packaged”.
They are “guaranteed to set hearts racing,” Fudge Kitchen added.
