During Vitafoods 2016, Ingredia showcased their new lactoferrin protein. FoodBev Media’s Darren Wood caught up with Fatiha Hani and Jessica Schwarz to talk about Lactoferrin.
They explained that is Lactoferrin is a protein occurring naturally in milk and human secretions. This glycoprotein has a high iron binding capacity which provides antimicrobial activity.
