Bronte is the Italian capital of Pistachios and has 3,000 hectares of land dedicated to Pistachi growing in Sicily on the outskirts of Mount Etna national park. The production of Bronte Pistachios adheres to strict quality and production controls, which has earned the product a PDO stamp.
All Joe Delucci’s gelati is made from 100% natural ingredients such as fresh fruit, real coffee and luxury chocolate and does not contain any artificial flavours or colours. The range encompasses sorbets, gluten free, dairy free and fat free varieties.
Nigel Langstone and Richard Pierce launched the range in 2005. Langstone said: “We are on a mission to raise people’s expectations of ice cream in this country. We believe our success over the last six years is due to the quality of our gelato, its taste, its creaminess and the wide range of flavours we offer.”
