Loch Lomond Group’s Ben Lomond Gin brand has released its first flavoured gins in the UK, launching two new flavours.
Both the Raspberry & Elderflower and Blackberry & Gooseberry gins are made from wild botanicals, vibrant berries and florals found within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs region of Scotland.
According to Ben Lomond, the Raspberry & Elderflower Gin boasts natural berry essences and offers a sweet and herby floral flavour, while the Blackberry & Gooseberry Gin features a sweet, but zesty flavour, as the flavour of the blackberries is balanced with the sharp, tangy flavour of gooseberries.
Both flavours are intended as a nod to the unique flora of the region, and can either be enjoyed on their own or used for cocktail making.
John Grieveson, CMO of Loch Lomond Group, said: “Loch Lomond and The Trossachs is renowned as one of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK and we spent a long time crafting these unique spirits to reflect this stunning area.
“The flavoured gin category continues to demonstrate strong growth, and this trend shows no sign of abating across the UK and with summer now here, these new releases will make a fantastic addition to our portfolio.”
Both gins are 38%ABV and have a suggested retail price of £23.50 for a 50cl bottle.
