This latest version of the unit features a number of innovations and improvements that serve to increase efficiency, reduce cost and minimise environmental impact. These include a sensor monitored clean-in-place (CIP) solution, IntelliCIP 2.0, that carries out cleaning based on actual need rather than at preset times, thereby significantly increasing production up-time.
The phases of pre-sterilisation (when the aseptic area is being sterilised) and hibernation (when the operation is paused) have also been modified. This enables it to bypass and stop the homogeniser and deaerator, resulting in an extension to the life of the piston seal in the homogeniser by as much as three times during pre-sterilisation and a reduction in energy and water consumption by 80% during hibernation.
In addition, a closed circuit of cooling medium in the deaerator reduces the water consumption by 5,500 litres in 15,000 litre/h unit.
