At the IFE exhibitor open day in London, in January, Bill Bruce met Britain’s youngest chocolatier – Danesh Amin – with Karrie and Emma Jones, to talk about the success of Brocks Chocs.
Now 17 years old, Danesh’s story began, aged 10, when he started selling his first Brocks Chocs products to raise money for charity, outside his father’s shop in Brockham, Surrey.
Aged 15, Danesh Amin was awarded the title of ‘youngest chocolatier’ by Belgian chocolate-maker Barry Callebaut. Today, the business has its own factory and a range of over 15 flavours.
