Australian tea brand T2 has created a range of vegetable teas, using ingredients like beetroot and broccoli.
The four new teas can be consumed hot, or added into juices and smoothies to be served cold. They will be “unique to the UK market”, T2 claimed, with vivid vegetable colours and an accompanying tea-ware collection that will form the main inspiration for a month-long living installation at T2’s store in London.
The range of new flavours consists of rooibos, beetroot and broccoli; carrot, ginger and turmeric; green tea and spinach; and apple, kale and ginger. All of the teas are 100% organic, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, and will be available in store and online from today until 2 October.
In June, the brand, released a new iced tea range to bolster its growing selection of loose-leaf teas and tea accessories.
And in April the premium tea maker added a new range of matcha green teas to its loose-leaf offering.
