On-shelf from late May, the promotion encourages consumers to enter a prize draw to win the opportunity to join Murray for a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience that will include playing tennis with him and taking part in a fitness and training session at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.
The promotion also includes a weekly draw to win exclusive Fred Perry tennis kits along with thousands of Highland Spring training kits. To enter the free prize draw, consumers are invited to register via text message or at the ‘Get Set with Andy’ website.
Created by Edinburgh-based agency Multiply UK, the promotion will feature on the majority of Highland Spring retail packs available from all major multiples. It’s the first on-pack promotion to feature on Highland Spring’s new-look packaging, which was launched in April 2009.
Sally Stanley, marketing director at Highland Spring, said: “Andy is a world-class athlete and inspirational role model for British children. Our exciting new on-pack provides the chance for a lucky individual to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience they’ll never forget.
“Highland Spring is a long-standing supporter of British tennis and is committed to reinforcing the health benefits of staying hydrated during sport. Andy has made outstanding achievements in the last year, and our ‘Get Set with Andy’ promotion is a great way of reinforcing the link between active sport and good hydration.”
Highland Spring is exclusive beverage sponsor to Andy Murray, who hails from Dunblane, Perthshire, just 10 miles from the company’s bottling plant. Highland Spring also supports Jamie and Judy Murray.
The company is official water supplier to the Lawn Tennis Association, which sees Highland Spring water supplied at all major LTA events during the year, including the international tournaments staged at The Queen’s Club in London, Eastbourne and Edgbaston.
