The new contracts, which will bring H2O Innovation’s backlog of systems sales to over C$14m, will be responsible for the design and implementation of filtration and treatment systems for the production of purified water and drinking water, using reverse osmosis and nanofiltration for customers in Quebec and in southwest US.
In a statement, president and CEO of H2O Innovation Frederic Dugre said: “We’re pleased to have successfully secured contracts for water treatment systems and equipment in all applications and markets we target in the US and Canada. From drinking water systems in Quebec to industrial process water systems for top-tier US industrial companies, along with contracts for our Bio-Wheel wastewater treatment systems, these contracts cover the full breadth of our water treatment systems offering.
“We’re particularly pleased to have obtained five projects in the industrial sector – a market segment where capital equipment investments have been rare since the beginning of the recession.”
Other contracts will cover purification systems for water production for industrial customers in Egypt and the US.
