The climate warmed up for food and drink transactions in March, with 58 recorded during the month on the bevblog.net global database.
There were three involving sums over $1 billion:
Among the 58 total, ten were in alcohol, eight in dairy, eight in ingredients, seven in soft drinks, four in packaging and three in bakery.
29 were within national borders – 14 of these in the United States, eight in the United Kingdom and four in Australia. 29 were international, involving 30 countries.
The United States featured in 24, the United Kingdom in ten, Australia in six, France in six, Italy in four, the Netherlands in three, Switzerland in four and Germany in three.
