Beverly Hills Drink Company – the maker of spring water brand Beverly Hills 9OH2O – has reached an agreement with an unnamed luxury conglomerate for the distribution of its bottled water in 18 countries, including China, India and the UAE.
The multi-million dollar and multi-year partnership is the brand’s ‘first major international distribution agreement’.
It forms part of Beverly Hills Drink Company’s long-term strategic plan to develop an upmarket product portfolio and obtain broad international distribution.
In addition to the partnership, the UAE-owned distributor has committed to investing an initial $2 million into the Beverly Hills 9OH2O distribution operation in its territories, and has obtained an option to acquire an ownership interest in Beverly Hills Drink Company based on performance.
“Beverly Hills Drink Company is continuing its quest to become a major global consumer brand,” president Jon Gluck told FoodBev. “It is expanding into other international markets, broadening its product offerings, establishing strong strategic relationships, and maximising shareholder value. Consumers will soon enjoy Beverly Hills 9OH2O at top establishments around the world.”
