Gut health food brand Bio&Me has moved into the chilled aisle with the launch of a range of prebiotic yogurts.
The new line features three flavours – original, Madagascan vanilla and Alphonso mango – and each pot is said to contain 18 different live and active cultures, as well as prebiotic chicory inulin.
The yogurts can be enjoyed as an afternoon snack, a sweet treat or a granola topping, as well as in smoothies, dips and bakes.
A source of calcium, phosphorous, and vitamins B12 and B2, the new offerings are reportedly free from added sugar and artificial sweeteners, while being high in protein.
Megan Rossi, co-founder of Bio&Me, said: “Consumers who love our gut-loving Bio&Me granolas have been asking us for a live yogurt to go with them.
“After much research and product development, we’re so pleased we can now offer our new range of prebiotic yogurts, full of my favourite live and active cultures, to offer consumers something new, whilst challenging and growing the yogurt category.”
With an RRP of £1.80 per 350g pot, the new range is available from Sainsbury’s stores across the UK.
