Black Tower has launched two special-edition bottle designs, available on two of its most popular wines sold in the UK, just in time for summer.
For early summer and available from June, Black Tower’s fruity white will be mark the holiday season by adopting a fun beach hut design; while Black Tower rosé, from August, will don a colourful abstract sunset design using a palette of hot summer colours such as lilac, pink, red, orange and gold.
The eye-catching designs are guaranteed to stand out from the crowd and offer a visual buying trigger for consumers looking forward to the warmer weather, longer days and outdoor get-togethers, brand owner Reh Kendermann said.
Since 2011 Black Tower has been creating seasonal special editions, cleverly coupling its original trademark iconic bottle shape with fun, colourful images applied to the top half of selected bottles around special times of the year. Featuring everything from spring flowers to summer flip flops and autumn leaves to winter woollies, these bottle designs have become synonymous with the brand and have grabbed the attention of the buying public.
Keeping pace with contemporary design, Black Tower has also recently introduced a modern new look to its iconic logo. Subtle changes have been given to the logo to producer a softer, more feminine and more contemporary feel. The new design is less complex with refreshed colours, but is still instantly recognisable and now holds more appeal for both the younger consumer and the female market.
The new look will help to maintain the brand’s presence in the UK’s grocery channel and performance as Germany’s most successful wine export to the UK.
