Bloom won in the category of ‘Best Innovation Agency’ for the GTME Johnnie Walker Double Black creation and launch.
Bloom was briefed in late 2008 to create an identity, packaging and launch campaign for the Johnnie Walker Double Black Label – a new, smokier, more intense and more challenging whisky. The campaign included in-store activity, full POS and merchandising.
“Duty Free shoppers look for things that offer them something special, something different from the everyday,” said Ed Hayes, Bloom planning director. “Diageo wanted to create a new Johnnie Walker whisky to challenge and intrigue Black Label loyalists.”
