The third hot and spicy chilli variant further strengthens the range’s adult-appeal, with added chilli flakes.
The new line-up is designed to inject renewed growth in the £38m bean meals category. The range comes in ring-pull cans. New 1kg family packs of Branston baked beans will also be added to the brand’s core range. The lightweight plastic containers can be kept in the fridge for five days once opened, or put directly in the microwave after removing the lid and foil.
The new ranges mark the first major investment in the brand since Princes acquired the licence to produce Branston baked bean products in 2011, and will be supported by in-store promotions and PR.
The new bean meals are available in 390g cans and have an RRP of £1.29 for Branston Beans & Lincolnshire Sausages, and £1.09 for Branston Beans & Chorizo, and Branston Beans with Chilli. The 1kg family packs of Branston beans has an RRP of £1.89.
