Pickle brand Branston has launched a range of new products for autumn, reinvigorating its offering for the flavoured pickle segment and extending its portfolio of table sauces.
The new product line-up includes the addition of a new sweet chilli flavoured pickle, created to tap into current flavour trends and consumer preferences for spicy foods. In addition to this, Branston will bring its existing beetroot pickle under the masterbrand banner with a packaging refresh to offer a clearer on-shelf presence.
The British brand will also re-launch its rich and fruity sauce this autumn with brand new packaging for greater standout on shelf, while adding two new variants to create a whole Rich & range. The two new flavours, rich and smoky plus rich and spicy, have been created in response to consumer demand, the Mizkan Euro-owned brand said.
Branston brand manager Victoria Adams said: “As a brand we are determined to consistently innovate and lead across all categories we are in – these new range launches mark our third and fourth piece of NPD since acquiring Branston in February 2013. Our new autumn line-up is incredibly strong, with new flavours delivering on tastes that match current consumer demand and with packaging updates to have greater on-shelf standout and brand consistency.”
The new product line up will be supported by marketing activity from November worth £140,000, including promoting the new range on ATM machines, a strategic social media campaign and creative PR support for all new products.
