The latest additions coincide with the announcement that Bread Du Jour products will now also be distributed via Swithenbank Fresh & Fine Foods, Oliver Kay Produce and Heart Distribution.
The company launched online last autumn with a flexible online ordering system that caters for operators of all sizes. To complement their existing channels to market, the brand has also been noticed by foodservice suppliers and will be distributed through Swithenbank Fresh & Fine Foods, Oliver Kay Produce and Heart Distribution from this spring.
“We set out with the belief that we were solving a problem for retailers, chef and caterers,” said Kevin Bennett. “The positive response to the bread itself and the benefits of the extended ambient shelf-life that comes with it have been a great start to the business. In addition to our direct online ordering solution, operators can now also order via their distributor, with three key partners onboard.”
