The trials, which included dozens of the most prominent canola hybrids, showed that Victory Canola hybrids finished near the top in virtually every category- including the critical performance metrics of gross revenue and yield.
Overall, the new Victory V12-1 Hybrid Canola was ranked number one in gross revenue, outperforming the second-ranked canola by more than $20/acre. Victory V12-1 and v1040 ranked number one and two in gross revenue in the Roundup Ready category.
Rick Wiebe, Cargill specialty canola’s marketing manager, said: “With all of its program benefits-high yield results, premium pricing options and a risk-free hedge-Victory is what we recommend to our customers as their number one hybrid choice for performance, high returns and peace of mind.”
As anticipated by Cargill, Victory V12-1 was the highest yielding Roundup Ready hybrid in the trials. Victory v1040 also finished among the leaders in yield.
