The new flavour is the 10th variant in the convenience sector range, which moved to a 1.5-litre price-marked pack format last year.
“Red flavours, particularly Cherries and Berries, have demonstrated strong growth over the past two years,” said Graham Breed, convenience channel marketing director at Princes. “We launched the new-look 1.5-litre Jucee range last year in response to demand from retailers for a price-marked pack. Feedback has been positive for the new format, which, at £1.29, is cheaper than some competing products and offers 50% more squash.”
