Coca-Cola Amatil has launched a new line of flavoured water for children under its Mount Franklin brand in Australia.
Called Mount Franklin Kids, the range is sold in 250ml bottles with a pop-top cap for convenience, with three flavours available: pineapple, apple, and lemon and lime.
The line features the recently-launched SyLon closure, which was developed at Coca-Cola Amatil’s Eastern Creek facility in Sydney and has all three components made of the same high-density polyethylene material which “creates a cleaner recycling stream”, Coca-Cola said. The bottle and closure are 100% recyclable.
Gaelle Boutellier, Coca-Cola Amatil director of strategy and marketing, believes the new beverage line is perfect for parents seeking a no-sugar, flavoured drink to keep children refreshed this summer.
“Parents are clear they want great-tasting flavours without sugar, sweeteners and preservatives to help increase kids’ water consumption,” she said. “Mount Franklin Kids delivers on this opportunity, in time for summer and in a perfect kid-sized 250ml bottle with a convenient pop-top cap.”
“All Mount Franklin bottles are recyclable. We encourage Aussies to recycle their bottles, so they can have another life, by taking it to a container deposit collection point, placing it in the home curb-side recycle bin or in clearly marked public recycling bins.”
Bottles of Mount Franklin Kids are now available in Australia with a recommended retail price of AUD 2.30 ($1.64) each.
