The announcement follows the success of the brand’s two most recent limited edition sleever campaigns, which saw the unveiling of two dedicated Valentine’s Day bottles and a spring season sleever.
Codorníu’s decision to roll out more limited edition sleevers is as a result of evidence of an approximate 20% uplift in sales of wrapped bottles, when compared with standard product.
The latest release will see the transformation of Codorníu’s Brut NV with a limited edition Barcelona themed sleever (pictured). The exclusive design features a gold wrap, with a number of the city’s key landmarks etched into the design, including La Sagrada Familia and Las Ramblas.
The Codorníu Barcelona bottle will be available from August in Sainsbury’s in the UK.
