US-based Asian meal brand Crazy Cuizine is introducing a new range of convenient frozen meals inspired by far Eastern and Southwest Asian influences.
The International Favorites product line will initially feature three bold new flavours – chicken tikka masala, garlic chicken and noodles, and Beijing broccoli beef – inspired by some of the most iconic dishes from Chinese, Vietnamese and Indian cuisine. They can go from frozen to cooked in a matter of minutes, parent company Day-Lee Foods said.
With no added MSG or trans fats, the new additions will join the brand’s existing portfolio of Asian meals, including Teriyaki chicken, Korean barbecue chicken and pork potstickers. They are free from trans fats and added MSG, and will be available from major US retailers beginning in April.
Crazy Cuizine has stated that the International Favorites product development will mark the first step in the brand’s expansion into a wider range of international and regional cuisines.
David Weinberg, marketing director at Day-Lee Foods, said: “We’ve seen an increased demand from consumers for bolder flavors, healthier ingredient profiles, and more high quality ethnic entrées. These first three International Favorites deliver well-known Asian entrees – ‘kicked up a notch’ with ‘restaurant quality’ flavors. They’re a real viable alternative to ‘takeout’. We’re also adding hearty vegetables or grains to every dish in the line, so each offers a complete meal solution for busy families and individuals on-the-go.”
