“With this investment, we are able to employ staff, increase our stock levels, develop our website and invest in marketing,” said founder Alistair Scahill.
The range is produced by Somerset cider company Brothers and has been rebranded since its initial launch in 2012. The new design was developed by brand design agency Mystery.
“We are delighted to see Thor Drinks generate £45k investment for the business,” said Mike Royston, business development manager at Crowdcube. “Crowdfunding is a new way to fund businesses with high growth potential. Crowdcube provides an avenue for ordinary people to take a small part of their capital and invest it alongside entrepreneurs in high-risk, high-reward ventures.”
Thor is available exclusively in pubs, restaurants and bars in London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. It isn’t stocked in supermarkets.
