British bircher muesli company Cuckoo will significantly grow its distribution through a deal to supply Tesco and The Co-operative Food with the brand’s convenient on-the-go pots.
Cuckoo’s modern bircher muesli will be stocked in The Co-operative Food and Tesco’s Food To Go aisles at selected stores nationwide.
A British start-up success story, Cuckoo has transformed the traditional bircher muesli offering of soaked oats, grated apple and yogurt with a range of five adventurous flavours. Co-founders Lucy Wright and Anna Mackenzie developed the brand for a modern audience, to be enjoyed at any time: not just for breakfast.
By partnering with these retailers, Cuckoo will be able to tap into the burgeoning health-focused on-the-go product trend to significantly grow sales by reaching more consumers than ever before.
The brand has recently revamped its packaging with brighter colours and a bolder design to create greater on-shelf presence and to highlight the quality ingredients that go into every pot.
Cuckoo Co-founders Lucy Wright and Anna Mackenzie said about the new listings: “We have launched Cuckoo in Tesco and The Co-operative Food to meet the rapidly growing demand for convenient and healthy on-the-go products amongst UK consumers.
“Now Tesco and The Co-operative Food customers can select Cuckoo as part of their regular shop to enjoy bircher muesli at home, on the move or in the office. This marks a significant national growth for our business.”
Cuckoo bircher muesli has been voted as one of Britain’s coolest brands and is proud to be made in the UK with home-grown jumbo oats and creamy West Country yogurt that provides consumers with the perfect balance of goodness and satisfying deliciousness.
With an average of 236 calories per 150g single-serve pot, Cuckoo bircher muesli is low-GI, a great source of fibre and protein, and is sweetened with fruit sugars, making it the perfect way to start the day, an ideal afternoon pick-me-up or a wholesome dessert option.
Cuckoo is available from Tesco, The Co-operative Food, Waitrose, Booths, Selfridges, Daylesford Organic, Harvey Nichols, AMT Coffee, Harrods and other independent stores with a recommended retail price of £1.50.
