UK-based food producer Primrose’s Kitchen has announced a new listing with online supermarket Ocado for its artisan muesli.
Ocado now stocks Primrose’s Kitchen raw vegetable muesli in both the raw carrot and cinnamon, and raw beetroot and ginger, flavours. Organic raw granolas will launch in April, with the new listing representing “a major step forward for the naturopathic brand”, Primrose’s Kitchen said.
The products can be used as a nutritious breakfast or a snack throughout the day, combined with yogurt and fruit to create a muesli, yogurt and fruit layer.
Primrose’s Kitchen founder Primrose Matheson said: “2015 was a huge year for Primrose’s Kitchen with the move into major retailers such as Booths, Holland & Barrett and Waitrose. To now be featured on the UK’s largest online supermarket is the next step forward for us and we’re fully on board with the Ocado ethos of minimising environmental [impact]. We have seen an increase in demand for our products as well as an interest from our customers looking to lead a more natural lifestyle. Ocado will help us offer an alternative to traditional breakfast mueslis to a wide audience and we’re excited to see what the response will be.”
