The new-look packs reflect the festive nature of these juice-based drinks and highlights how they can be drunk with or without alcohol.
The new Del Monte Occasions Margarita has mango as a base, which is the fastest growing juice flavour in the UK. Other flavours in the range include Pineapple Mojito, Spicy Tomato Mary and Cranberry Cosmopolitan.
“With Del Monte Occasions, we realised there was a real opportunity to create a new range of mixers that can be added to alcohol,” said Frans Van Melis, vice president operations. “But, in a new departure for cocktail mixers, they’re also great-tasting when drunk on their own.
“The decision to relaunch the brand was taken to differentiate the premium Del Monte Occasions range from mainstream juices. People have an entirely different mindset when shopping for an adult, non-alcoholic beverage to drink at home or at a party. Juice tends to be a functional purchase, whereas shopping for mixers is associated with having fun and socialising.
