Ideal for the full spectrum of hydraulic, gear and air compressor applications, Mobil SHC Cibus lubricants are designed to provide food and beverage processors with high-performance lubrication and long service life, even under extreme operating conditions such as freezers and cookers.
In addition to being manufactured in equipment where cross-contamination is minimised, Mobil SHC Cibus Series lubricants are formulated to nut-, wheat- and gluten-free, and suitable under Kosher and Halal dietary laws.
“Today, food and beverage processors are constantly challenged to find ways to boost productivity while also maintaining strict food safety standards,” said Peter Bird, food industry adviser, ExxonMobil Lubricants & Petroleum Specialties Company. “We engineered the new Mobil SHC Cibus Series by leveraging our vast application-expertise to formulate a premium lubricant solution that can help provide food and beverage manufacturers with a competitive advantage.”
Engineered with advanced synthetic base stocks, Mobil SHC Cibus Series oils exhibit outstanding load-carrying properties and low internal friction, helping to reduce energy costs. In proprietary worm gear bench tests, Mobil SHC Cibus demonstrated up to 3% overall efficiency improvement compared to mineral gear oils.
Furthermore, Mobil SHC Cibus Series lubricants can be used in applications below and above the processing line, helping to reduce inventory costs and the risk of contamination from using non-NSF H1 registered lubricants.
Available in viscosities ranging from ISO VG 32 to 68 and 150 to 460, the new Mobil SHC Cibus Series lubricants are sold through ExxonMobil’s worldwide network of distributors.
