Craft drinks brand Folkington’s has launched a new range of premium mixers, designed to match the growth in craft spirits.
The 150ml range, packaged in mini-cans, consists of Indian tonic water, dry ginger ale, bitter lemon, lemonade and club soda – all created from natural botanical extracts of handpicked citrus and floral plants, supplied by artisan producers.
The mixers are designed to have strong on-shelf standout and wide appeal, allowing retailers to broaden their premium mixer offering.
It follows in the footsteps of craft mixer brand Fever-Tree, which has been a runaway success story since it was founded in 2005 and last year recorded profits of almost £17 million.
Folkington’s founder Paul Bendit explained: “We set out to create an artisan mixer range that has perfect symbiosis with the many new craft gins and whiskies that have lately entered the market. In presenting them in stylish 150ml mini-cans we are offering the market a very high-quality range of mixers in an environmentally kind packaging format that also offers convenience, minimum wastage and competitive pricing.”
The Folkington’s mixers fridge packs will debut in the independent retail trade with a recommended price of £4.99 per pack.
Since launching in 2012, Folkington’s has developed a range of juices and sparkling pressés, and is now sold throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and southeast Asia.
