Frozen yogurt lolly brand Claudi & Fin has released a new online video advertising campaign, marking a significant step away from its previous marketing initiatives.
The short videos, which will run across Instagram and Facebook during July and August, sees two strawberry and mango-flavoured yogurt lollies come to life to tell consumers the virtues of Claudi & Fin. Aimed at children, the snacks are low in calories, a good source of vitamin D and packed full of real Greek-style yogurt, they say.
The brand, which has previously concentrated on experiential campaigns and using digital and printed vouchers to incentivise trial, has said that it hopes the video campaign will lead to an increase in brand awareness and an uplift in sales of between 10% and 20%.
The video campaign has been developed by digital agency Prescription, which was tasked with creating an engaging, playful and shareable social media campaign.
Claudi & Fin co-founder Meriel Kehoe said: “I am so excited about the forthcoming launch of our fantastic adverts for Facebook and Instagram. Cheeky, characterful and full of fun, these videos bring the brand to life and I can’t wait to share our healthy products attributes with all those parents looking for a better-for-you alternative to ice cream for their children.”
The brand also recently released a set of videos, which showed children recreating the British reality television series Come Dine With Me. “This is my first ever dinner party,” host Finlay says, “and I need a wee”. Promoted across the brand’s social media channels, it shows Finlay serving up a course of sausages and mash, followed by Claudi & Fin yogurt lollies – “the best pudding ever”.
