General Mill’s Annie’s brand has released a number of new products in the US in anticipation of the new school year, including a range of Gluten-Free Cheddar Bunny Tail crackers.
The gluten-free crackers are made with real cheddar cheese and contain no artificial flavours, synthetic colours or synthetic preservatives, and were created following “hundreds” of requests from fans of the brand in the recent past.
Also joining the Annie’s product portfolio is a new range of fruit snacks called Berry Patch Bunny Fruit Snacks, as well as a cereal snack called Bunny Grahams, which are made with organic honey, cocoa and whole wheat.
Annie’s has also released a new mac & cheese product called Yummier-Than-Ever Classic Cheddar Mac & Cheese, which can be combined with broccoli, peas or pureed cauliflower to create a school lunch.
Carla Vernón, Annie’s president said: “Over the years, we have received so many heartfelt notes, letters, and emails asking for us to create a gluten-free recipe for our Cheddar Bunny crackers.
“We are so thrilled to share our crispy, cheesy gluten-free bunny cracker and we hope our patient fans will hop with joy when they taste them.
“At Annie’s, it is our mission to give kids and families food that they feel good about eating.
“We want kids to light up when they see Annie’s in their lunchboxes. And we hope parents can feel confident about the wholesome and delicious Annie’s snacks they’re packing.”
