Häagen-Dazs has launched a new range of ice cream that combines three indulgent flavours in each tub.
Häagen-Dazs Trio pairs two unique flavours of the brand’s ice cream with crispy layers of Belgian chocolate for an indulgent treat that offers both flavour and textural impact.
The new varieties include coffee-vanilla, with layers of signature vanilla and coffee ice creams woven between layers of crispy Belgian milk chocolate; as well as vanilla-blackberry, which combines blackberry and vanilla ice cream with layers of crispy Belgian dark chocolate.
There is also a triple chocolate flavour, made with rich white chocolate and milk chocolate ice creams – also paired with layers of crispy Belgian dark chocolate.
The Trio collection will start rolling out across the US before becoming ‘widely available’ by April. All flavours will be available in 14oz cartons at a suggested retail price of $5.49 per tub.
Häagen-Dazs brand manager Kerry Hopkins said: “We’re always thinking about ways to innovate while remaining true to our core values, which include creating perfect flavours using the highest-quality ingredients.
“We have found more diverse flavour profiles and textures create a more indulgent experience.
“Trio takes a classic indulgence to the next level by offering layers of texture that are completely new to the ice cream category.”
As part of its range extension, Häagen-Dazs has also added new flavours to its core line-up in the US. They include peanut butter salted fudge, espresso chocolate cookie crumble, toasted coconut caramel, and bourbon praline pecan.
And there is three new varieties of Häagen-Dazs ice cream bars: white chocolate raspberry, vanilla dark chocolate cookie and coconut dark chocolate caramel.
