‘Ethically driven’ dairy producer Hart Dairy has secured $20 million in a funding round, which included a $13 million lead investment from KAL Investment Group.
Hart Dairy will use the funds to further expand its business through farm acquisitions and strategic marketing plans to accelerate sales.
“These funds allow us to provide more marketing support as we drive sales velocity on a per-store basis and allow us to purchase farms as part of our farm roll-up strategy,” said Hart Dairy’s CEO, Tim Connell. “I am very excited about Hart Dairy’s future as we continue to accelerate our business plans and product innovation throughout the US dairy landscape.”
Hart Dairy offers pasture-raised and grass-fed milk products, with authorisations and placements in over 1,900 retail locations across the US.
