Andy Ludlow, associate brand manager for Heinz Ketchup, said: “Since 2006, the Heinz Ketchup Creativity Contest has generated more than 130,000 entries from thousands of schools nationwide. We’re excited to offer the contest again this year and showcase the talent of 12 more student artists, using iconic Heinz Ketchup packets as the canvas.”
A panel of judges will select the top 12 winning entries, one from each grade category K-1 through 12, and the winning students each will receive a $1,000 cash prize, and their schools will receive $1,000 and a voucher for $1,000 worth of Heinz Ketchup. The winning artwork will appear on millions of Heinz Ketchup packets in Foodservice venues across the US during the 2012 – 2013 school year. Winners will be announced in May.
