US keto-friendly sauces and dressings producer, Hungry Squirrel, has announced the opening of a new facility in Brownsville, Texas.
Hungry Squirrel expects that the new plant will enable it to better serve its growing national customer base. The business produces sauces, dressings and dips.
The company’s offerings cater for a range of dietary requirements, including ketogenic, paleo, gluten-free and glycaemic-sensitive diets.
Hungry Squirrel’s VP of marketing and sales, Amy Baklund, said: “Consumers are looking for healthy meal solutions, and there is currently nothing quite like these no-added-sugar, plant-based sauces and dressings”.
She continued: “We are fortunate to be partnered with an SQF2 co-packer that’s been in business for 75 years. They have kept us moving forward despite the stall of the world’s supply chain distributions due to the pandemic.”
