Café bar and foodservice product developer Beyond the Bean has announced the launch of a gluten-free cookie range to its Kent and Fraser bakery brand.
The new cookies – available in chocolate chip, spicy ginger, lemon butter shortbread and vanilla butter crunch varieties – are made in a certified gluten-free environment and baked in small batches to ensure their signature decadent artisan quality and superb taste. “It’s all about natural ingredients, superb flavours and a perfect texture,” Kent and Fraser said.
All are gluten-free, wheat-free and made using pure ingredients for a finish that is “as good as (or even better) than their wheat-based counterparts”.
The development of a new gluten-free cookie range was designed to improve quality of choice within the gluten-free category. “We think that avoiding gluten shouldn’t mean avoiding great tasting food, so that’s why at Beyond the Bean we want to make sure we’re offering our customers delicious baked goods that everyone can enjoy,” the company said.
