Keurig Green Mountain has manufactured a new coffee machine called the K-Elite, which has more personalisation options than any other Keurig single-serve coffee maker, according to the brand.
Programmable features included with the machine will allow consumers to adjust brewing temperature, set an exact time for the brewer to activate and a high-altitude setting, which ensures the machine works at altitudes over 5,000 feet.
The K-Elite also boasts an ‘extra-large’ 75oz water reservoir, allowing consumers to brew up to eight cups without refilling, iced coffee and strong brew settings and an automatic maintenance reminder which alerts consumers when the maker needs to be descaled.
Keurig K-Cup coffee pods can be brewed in under a minute in the machine, and consumers can choose five drink sizes – 4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, and 12oz.
Scott Moffitt, chief brand and beverage officer at Keurig said: “The features of our new K-Elite coffee maker are based on meeting the needs of consumers who love the convenience and quality of our Keurig single serve system, but who also value modern design and more options for their brew.
“We’re confident we’ve delivered against those insights with the K-Elite coffee maker with its premium look and customization for your cup. In fact, it’s our top-rated coffee maker model currently available on Keurig.com.”
The Keurig K-Elite is available on Keurig’s website now, and will be available from selected retailers from the beginning of March, with a suggested retail price of $169.99.
