Snack bar manufacturer Kind has introduced two new bars for the UK market, available from selected UK retailers from 25 April.
Dark chocolate almond mint and pomegranate blueberry pistachio are the new additions to the brand’s snack bar range, which now includes ten different flavours.
The dark chocolate almond mint bar features almonds and cashews topped with peppermint leaves and covered in dark chocolate, and each bar contains 5g of sugar.
Meanwhile, the pomegranate blueberry pistachio bars are made with a blend of fruit, nuts and honey.
Both 40g bars are gluten-free, made with natural ingredient and without any artificial flavours or colours.
John McManus, Kind UK marketing director said: “We know consumers are hungry for variety and we’re continuing to see increased demand for great tasting, healthy and minimally processed snacks.
Traditional cereal bars are laden with sugar that are not necessarily nutrient rich. At Kind we’re strong believers in providing a quality product that uses ingredients in their whole form.
The new dark chocolate almond mint flavour offers a healthy twist on a UK classic and the pomegranate blueberry pistachio is a UK first, which aims to offer something different in terms of taste.”
Both bars will be sold in single-serve format and have a suggested retail price of £1.29 per bar.
