New Jersey-based Mehadrin Dairy, which distributes Cholov Yisroel dairy and frozen foods in the US, has selected a route accounting system and mobile delivery application from global supply chain management software provider HighJump, to serve as the backbone of its direct store delivery operations.
“In the last few years, we have expanded to carry over 300 products and now service the tri-state [New York, New Jersey and Connecticut] area directly with over 20 trucks. Our aging route accounting solution did not provide the flexibility we needed to support our growing business. Our partnership with HighJump will allow us to implement a solution that will integrate with Microsoft Dynamics GP, providing tighter integration and visibility across our business,” said the chief operations officer for Mehadrin Dairy.
“From the first conversation with Mehadrin Dairy, we were challenged to prove that we could successfully support their current process requirements,” said Derek Curtis, vice president of sales for HighJump. “Not only were we able to meet and exceed those needs, but also we provided them with a mobile delivery solution that works on their current rugged hardware and gives them a future migration path to our tablet HighJump OmniTech mobile solution.”
Mehadrin Dairy will leverage both HighJump Route Assistant and HighJump OmniTech Delivery to provide its drivers with accurate, real-time inventory and accurate information, as well as all of the tools necessary to invoice, track and record all transactions in the field. HighJump Route Administrator will act as MehadrinDairy’s operational hub, managing routes, hand-held computing devices, customers and driver schedules.
