Chairwoman, Angela Nardone, said that according to 2010 estimates from the centres for disease control and prevention (CDC), about 48 million people get sick in the US every year from food-borne diseases.
Nardone’s Florida based company provides operations compliance, and food safety solutions for food companies, resulting in a higher quality of food in the supply chain, according to the company.
Nardone works with restaurants, retailers, distributors, growers, packers and processors around the world.
Nardone said: “It’s never been more important for restaurants and food service companies to control food safety and quality throughout the food supply chain.”
