The introduction of this equipment, which is used to pack bulk flour into retail packs, will significantly increase the company’s capacity, while maximising efficiency, quality and consistency.
“Neill’s is a very well established brand and market leader in Northern Ireland, with considerable business in the Republic of Ireland,” said flour sales manager David Spence. “However, a primary motivator behind the investment in the Fawema is to grow our business in export markets by enhancing our retail flour offering.
“At the same time, we’re almost halfway through a two-and-a-half year £300,000 investment in staff training, development and up-skilling. Both investments reflect Neill’s Flour’s commitment to innovation and growth despite the current economic climate.”
