New beverage brand Maha Liquid Venture, launched in partnership with Anheuser-Busch and Golden Road Brewing founder Meg Gill, has released a line-up of organic hard seltzers across the US.
The product launch marks the brands first product with future plans to expand the brand portfolio focusing on the active lifestyle and wellness space.
Made up of 100% USDA certified organic ingredients, the Maha Organic Hard Seltzer claims it is one of the first to feature a proprietary blend of vitamins and minerals including potassium, calcium and magnesium.
Containing 110 calories per can, the alcoholic drink is flavoured with organic fruit juice and brewed with cascara and sea salt with no added sugars.
With a 4.2% ABV, the line-up is available in three different flavours: raspberry, tangerine yuzu, and black cherry.
Golden Road Brewing founder Meg Gill said: “The word ‘Maha’ is of Sanskrit origin meaning great, or greatness, and we believe there is greatness (or Maha) in all of us.
“As an athlete myself, I’m aware that health-conscious consumers are mindful of what they are putting in their bodies and only want the best when it comes to ingredients; so, we developed our first product, Maha Organic Hard Seltzer, in partnership with Anheuser-Busch and in collaboration with real athletes.”
Professional athletes involved in the new brand establishment include sky-runner Hillary Allen, triathlete Alli Forsythe and alpine climber James Lindaman.
Gill added: “Maha was created for a balanced lifestyle, whether you’re celebrating with friends at a sporting event or unwinding after a tough workout, Maha Organic Hard Seltzer is a refreshing way to reset.
“In 2020, consumers shouldn’t have to settle, in any aspect of life, which is why we’re here to bring the next phase of seltzer to wellness-minded consumers who want a delicious beverage with 100% premium, organic ingredients.”
The Maha Organic Hard Seltzer range is available in variety packs of 12 cans to purchase in major grocery and liquor stores throughout the US.
