The range consists of two classic flavours inspired from meals enjoyed in pubs across the UK: Lamb & Mint and Roast Beef & Horseradish. The range will be available in 50g handypacks with a MRRP of 52p, and a multipack that consists of 3x Lamb & Mint and 3x Roast Beef & Horseradish handypacks, with a MRRP of £1.71.
Helen Warren-Piper, marketing director for Bagged Snacks, UBUK said: “Following the success of previous limited edition ranges, McCoy’s new British Pub Grub variants look to capitalise on the growing trend for classic, British flavours.”
Earlier this year McCoy’s launched a heavyweight summer campaign of advertising and promotional activity to drive sales for retailers, as part of a £1.5m investment in the brand in 2009. This included a return of the highly successful ‘Man Crisps’ TV advert, on-pack promotion to win desirable gadgets, and the launch of a new McCoy’s website.
