Air-dried fruit and vegetable crisp manufacturer Nim’s has released a new range of crisps to celebrate the countdown to Christmas.
Three limited-edition flavours are now available in the UK: Beet & Butt, a combination of beetroot and butternut squash; Bubble & Squeak, made with parsnip, beetroot and Brussels sprout crisps; and Brussels, featuring Brussels sprouts.
In a first for the business, the range is available in a share bag size.
Nim’s is the brainchild of Nimisha Raja, who was becoming increasingly disenchanted by the lack of healthy snacks on offer for parents and toddlers.
She sold her coffee shop and house and ploughed money into launching the air-dried fruit crisp brand and building a factory that now produces 15 million packs a year.
“Nim’s crisps are created using fruit and vegetables which have been air-dried,” said Raja. “Our process uses no oils, chemicals or additives, just the whole fruit and veg and, as a result, we produce virtually zero food waste.
“Christmas is a great time to celebrate with friends and family, so we thought we’d introduce a number of festive favourites and package them in share bags so they could be enjoyed at parties and big gatherings.”
Each variant in the festive range is available for £1.95 per bag.
