UK social enterprise company Bicycle Moon has launched a range of organic cordials made from 100% fruit and without any sugar.
The brand aims to differentiate itself by having a high fruit content in each bottle. Rejecting a trend for complicated blends, the range is available in five flavours: blackcurrant, elderberry, rosehip, sour cherry, and strawberry.
Bicycle Moon founders Mark and Yolanda Drewell aim to create a quirky brand identity with a memorable name, and an cheeky slogan ‘100% fruit, no tomfoolery’ to visually differentiate their product from other cordials.
The label also highlights the company’s deeper goal to help make the world a better place with the words ‘better choices, better world’.
“The brand is based on the idea that Bicycle Moon is a hypothetical place where conscious individuals live in community, eating wholesome food, collect experiences not stuff, and tread lightly on the earth,” said Yolanda.
“This is the type of lifestyle that many of us aspire to nowadays, and as a company, and as people, it’s a way of being in the world that we espouse. In all that we do, we try to make better choices in terms of our eco-credentials and the way we build relationships with our customers.”
The cordials are sold in 500ml bottles with a recommended retail price of £9.95, making 2.5 litres. They last two weeks if refrigerated or a year unopened.
