Ornua Ingredients Europe has released a new range of pizza cheeses developed specifically for customers in the fast-growing pizza delivery market.
Available through the company’s Spinneyfields brand, the Spinneyfields Consistent Shred Pizza Cheese range has been developed to ensure quality and performance for customers in the UK pizza delivery industry, now valued at approximately £2.1 billion.
Three variants will be available in the range: Consistent Shred Mozzarella; Consistent Shred Mozzarella & Cheddar; and Consistent Shred Pizza Topper.
According to Ornua, all three variants are produced using the firm’s TCS Technology, which reportedly produces a firm shred and consistent size, resulting in less product waste and greater yields without compromising on pizza cheese coverage, melt or stretch.
Ornua asserts that this allows customers to utilise a cheese that is versatile and easy to handle, minimising burns and blistering by eliminating clumping and product fines.
All three variants will be available in chilled or frozen packs of 6 x 2kg.
Joan Bombardo, managing director of Ornua Ingredients Europe, said: “During the pandemic, the delivered pizza sector experienced rapid and sustained growth, and we believe that the launch of the new Spinneyfields, Consistent Shred Cheese range will enable our customers to capitalise on this growth.
“This new range will provide consistent quality and reduced waste while at the same time providing generous pizza coverage, perfect melt and rich, creamy texture to ensure each delivery ends with a happy customer.”
